Hosting a challenge? Everything you need to know
Challenge hosts have an important role in not only creating a compelling challenge but also doing an effective job at managing it.
- Create an effective challenge description video: let users know more about the challenge and what is expected of them
- Set the rules: Make all the rules of the challenge clear in the Rules section. Things like what to show in the check in (show your GPS, show your watch, show yourself drinking water, show yourself taking vitamins), if there are any check in time restrictions (must check in before 8 am), and anything else you think is relevant.
- After the challenge starts, it is your job to enforce the rules of the challenge. If anyone is in violation of the rules, you can Flag their check in by clicking on the bottom right hand screen of the check in, and clicking on Flag video. We highly recommend doing this before the check in period has ended to allow users time to attempt to rectify the violation.
- If you need to Give up in a challenge (by clicking on More > Give Up), you can still administer and moderate the challenge without being in it. However if you no longer want to be a part of the challenge, please email email@example.com
